Giuseppe Ganzerli, born in Napoli, has early begun his piano studies showing high musical skills. He graduated Magna cum laude and honorable mention at Napoli Academy of music “San Pietro a Majella”, in November 2007 he obtained the Second Specialist Level in Piano (Interpretation) by the above-mentioned Academy of Music with highest grades, cum laude and special commendation by the commission. In March 2009 he obtained the Second Specialist Level as Pianist accompanist/ coach at the Academy of Music in Frosinone with highest grades and cum laude.

He has participated to many seasons and manifestations, obtaining everywhere unanimous approvals both from public than from critics.

He held concerts for major theatres and associations as “Napolinova”,in Napoli, Fondazione “W.Walton” in Ischia, Scarlatti Association, “Il Tempietto” in Roma, Academy of Music “S. Cecilia” in Roma, Festival “Busoni”, Academy of Music “G. Martucci” in Salerno, Academy of Music “San Pietro a Majella” in honour of the Bourbons' visit in November 2003, Ville vesuviane, Verdi Theather in Salerno, La fenice in Venezia, Manzoni Theather and Teatro Nuovo in Milano.

In October 2006, after the execution of the three “piano trios op. 1” by di Ludwig van Beethoven for piano, violin and violoncello at the theater "An die Musik Live" in Baltimora, he received unexpected plaudits from the chief of staff Admiral Gianpaolo Di Paola.

He has taken part in several different piano competitions and was awarded “Città di Camaiore”(LU) first prize in 1997. Last year he won first prize in the "Saint Cecilia" piano competition. He ranked among the first in the “G.B.Pergolesi” competition (VIII and IX edition). In December 2003 he was the winner at the Chianche competition awarding the prize in pianistic interpretation “Vincenzo Pastore”, gold medal and merit degree in the “F. Liszt” VI Rassegna Internazionale. In October 2009 he gained the first prize at the International competition for piano and orchestra (Milano). He attended perfection courses kept by A. Ciccolini, F. Medori, P. Vergari, A. Hinceff, F. Nicolosi, S. Perticaroli, R. Risaliti.

His repertory ranges over Bach, preferring the big works of the Romantic Age: he played the feature length of Liszt’s transcendental studies, of Chopin’s Studies and of the Rachmaninov’s Preludes.
His intensive concertistic activity brought him to perform tours in many European and Extra European countries, as solo, chamber orchestra formation, and piano duo together with Elisso Virsaladze, Alessandro Carponi and with the tenor Daniele Zanfardino.

In June, 2007 he participated to the musical comedy “Radio Fuori” (by Gea Martire and Maria Gabriella Marino directed by Nadia Baldi) and at Mercadante Theater in Napoli while in November of 2007 he participated in the “Onda su Onda” show as pianist and musical assistant at the Rebibbia Prison Theatre in Rome (Director Franz Coriasco- Guest Star: Lorena Bianchetti) and replied at RAI Auditorium in Napoli on February 2008.

In October , 2008 he performed “Deux Arabesque” by Claude Debussy in “La Bibbia giorno e notte” Rai programme .
In January, 2009 he recorded the first Book of Preludes by C. Debussy for RAI Trade, and he showcased the recording by playing “La fille aux cheveux de lin" in a live TV broadcast of the "Costume e società” Tg2 daily programme.

He was Pianist accompanist for the 58th “Festival della Canzone Italiana” selections, Jouth section.

He is organist accompanist in the “Axia” Vocal ensemble ,with which he performs himself in Sacral Music concerts with the collaboration of the San Carlo Theatre orchestra, “La Nuova Scarlatti” and “I solisti di Napoli”.

He devotes himself wholeheartedly to popularising piano and opera music by frequently holding concerts-lessons at universities and music academies.
